Target Information
PUM1 (pumilio homolog 1)은 RNA 결합 단백질로, 3'-UTR 영역에 결합하여 전사 후 억제 기능을 수행합니다. PUF family에 속하며, Pumilio Response Element (PRE, 5'-UGUANAUA-3') 서열을 인식합니다. CCR4-POP2-NOT deadenylase 복합체를 직접 모집하여 번역 억제 및 mRNA 분해를 유도합니다. PUM1 유전자 변이는 spinocerebellar ataxia 47을 유발할 수 있습니다.
