Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Bovine, and Mouse.
Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining consistent recombinant production quality.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites, offering high detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. The recombinant design ensures reproducibility across lots, avoiding biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.
Note: Formerly called “Recombinant polyclonal antibody”, now rebranded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ antibody”. Product performance remains unchanged.
Target Information
RPS6KA1 (RSK1) is a growth-factor regulated serine/threonine kinase involved in the MAPK cascade. It controls cellular proliferation and differentiation through phosphorylation of transcription factors.
RPS6KA1 contains two nonidentical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the MAPK signaling pathway. The activity of this protein is implicated in cell growth and differentiation. Alternate transcriptional splice variants encoding different isoforms have been characterized.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
