Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The GSTT2 gene encodes glutathione S-transferase theta 2B (GSTT2B), a member of a superfamily of enzymes that catalyze the conjugation of reduced glutathione to various electrophilic and hydrophobic compounds.
Human GSTs are classified into five major classes: alpha, mu, pi, theta, and zeta. The theta class includes GSTT1, GSTT2, and GSTT2B. GSTT2 and GSTT2B are nearly identical, sharing 55% amino acid identity with GSTT1.
These genes may play roles in human carcinogenesis. The GSTT2B gene is a pseudogene in some populations.
