Target Information
GOT2 (Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 2) is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme found in the mitochondrial inner membrane. It plays a key role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. GOT1 and GOT2 are homodimeric enzymes with high sequence homology.
