Target Information
Lon protease는 ATP 의존성 serine protease로, 변이 또는 비정상 단백질 및 일부 단명 조절 단백질(예: antitoxins)을 선택적으로 분해합니다.
세포 항상성 유지, DNA 손상 회복 및 스트레스 유도 발달 변화에 필수적입니다.
이 효소는 폴리펩타이드를 5–10 아미노산 길이의 작은 펩타이드로 절단하며, 이중가닥 DNA에 부위 특이적으로 결합합니다.
내인성 기질에는 RcsA, SulA, SoxS, UmuD 및 type II antitoxins (CcdA, HipB, MazE 등)이 포함됩니다.
과발현 시 YoeB-YefM toxin-antitoxin 시스템을 포함한 경로를 통해 번역을 억제하며, 항생제 내성 퍼시스터 세포 형성을 유도합니다.
