Target Information
KLHL13 encodes a BTB and kelch domain-containing protein, part of the kelch repeat domain superfamily.
It acts as an adaptor protein forming a Cullin 3-based E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex, essential for proper chromosome segregation and cytokinesis.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
