Product Specific Information
The pY20 monoclonal antibody recognizes phosphorylated tyrosine residues (p-Tyr) on proteins. Phosphorylation of tyrosine residues plays a key role in intracellular signaling cascades. Detection of p-Tyr residues aids in the characterization and purification of phosphorylated proteins and associated signaling pathways.
Applications Reported:
This antibody is suitable for intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and validated for intracellular staining of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test in a final volume of 100 µL. Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Staining Protocols:
- Protocol A (Two-step, cytoplasmic): For detection of surface and intracellular proteins.
- Protocol B (One-step, nuclear): For transcription factor staining with phosphorylated intracellular proteins.
- Protocol C (Fixation/Methanol): For distinguishing phospho-specific signaling between stimulated and unstimulated samples.

Target Information
