Target Information
CD321 (F11R, JAM-1, JAM-A)은 Ig superfamily에 속하는 세포 표면 부착 단백질로, 32–41 kD의 당단백질이다. 두 개의 Ig-like 도메인, 막관통 영역, 짧은 세포질 꼬리를 가지며, 막에서 호모다이머로 존재하고 integrin 등 다른 막 단백질과 상호작용할 수 있다.
CD321은 백혈구, 혈소판, 적혈구, 줄기세포, 상피 및 내피 세포 등 다양한 세포에서 발현되며, 세포 간 접촉 매개에 관여한다. 또한 ZO-1, occludin 등 상피 세포 밀착연접(tight junction) 구성 요소와 근접하게 위치한다.
CD321은 상피 및 내피 장벽 유지, 조혈, 혈관신생, 종양 증식·침윤·전이에 중요한 역할을 한다.
