The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Target Information

ETV4 (ets variant gene 4, also known as E1A enhancer binding protein or PEA3) is a member of the Ets gene family encoding sequence-specific DNA binding proteins.
These include mouse PU.1, mouse and human Ets-1, Drosophila E74, chicken and human Ets-2, and rat GABP-α.
All Ets proteins recognize similar DNA motifs with a central 5'-GGAA-3' element.
PEA3 binds the motif 5'-AGGAAG-3' (PEA-3 motif) but does not bind 5'-AGGAAC-3', which is recognized by PU.1.
Each Ets protein interacts with unique sequences flanking the core motif.
PEA3 is expressed in epithelial and fibroblastic cells but not in hematopoietic cells, unlike Ets-1, Ets-2, and Fli-1, which are primarily expressed in hematopoietic cells.
