Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CBX8 is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains transcriptional repression of many genes, including Hox genes, during development.
The PRC1 complex acts through chromatin remodeling and histone modification, mediating monoubiquitination of histone H2A at Lys-119, resulting in heritable changes in chromatin expressibility.
