The TRI-COLOR® conjugate is a tandem R-phycoerythrin (PE)-Cy5 conjugate that allows simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets using a single excitation source—the 488 nm line of the argon-ion laser.
Target Information
CD13 (ANPEP) is a 150–170 kDa type II transmembrane zinc-binding ectopeptidase expressed on various cell types. It functions as a metalloprotease that removes neutral amino acids from small peptides, influencing activation or inactivation of bioactive peptides. CD13 is involved in extracellular matrix degradation, antigen processing, and signal transduction, and plays roles in inflammatory responses, intercellular contact, cell motility, and vascularization. It is expressed by granulocytes, monocytes, and myeloid leukemia cells, and its expression is associated with poor prognosis in carcinomas. CD13 also serves as an alpha receptor for coronavirus.
