Target Information
Ryanodine receptor (RyR)는 근육 세포의 sarcoplasmic reticulum(SR)에서 칼슘 방출을 담당하는 채널로, 비근육 세포에서도 칼슘 조절에 관여합니다. RyR은 homotetramer 형태로 존재하며, 짧은 세포질 C-말단과 4–10개의 막관통 도메인을 가지고 있습니다. 단백질의 나머지 부분은 T-tubule과 SR 사이의 세포질 영역(foot region)에 위치합니다.
포유류 RyR은 세 가지 유전자의 산물입니다:
- RyR-1: 주로 골격근과 뇌 영역에서 발현
- RyR-2: 주로 심장 근육에서 발현되며, 위, 내피세포 및 뇌의 일부 영역에서도 발견됨
- RyR-3: 평활근과 뇌(선조체, 시상, 해마)에서 발현
