Target Information
DUSP6 (MKP3)는 dual specificity protein phosphatase 하위군에 속하며, phosphoserine/threonine 및 phosphotyrosine 잔기를 탈인산화하여 표적 kinase를 불활성화합니다. MAPK/ERK, SAPK/JNK, p38 등 세포 증식과 분화에 관련된 MAP kinase 계열을 음성 조절합니다.
이 유전자 산물은 ERK2를 불활성화하며, 심장과 췌장에서 높은 수준으로 발현되고 세포질에 위치합니다. 두 가지 전사체 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 각각 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
