Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine MDC (CCL22). Anti-Murine MDC (CCL22)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect mMDC by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine MDC (500-P176) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant mMDC.

Western Blot:
To detect mMDC by Western blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant mMDC is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CCL22 may play a role in the trafficking of activated/effector T-lymphocytes to inflammatory sites and other aspects of activated T-lymphocyte physiology. It is chemotactic for monocytes, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells. CCL22 acts as a mild chemoattractant for primary activated T-lymphocytes and a potent chemoattractant for chronically activated T-lymphocytes, but has no chemoattractant activity for neutrophils, eosinophils, or resting T-lymphocytes. Binds to CCR4.
