Target Information
SIRT7는 yeast Sir2 단백질과 상동성을 가지는 sirtuin 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로, sirtuin core domain을 포함하며 class IV로 분류됩니다. 인간 sirtuin의 기능은 완전히 규명되지 않았으나, yeast sirtuin은 유전자 발현의 후성유전적 억제 및 rDNA 재조합 억제에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 인간 SIRT7은 mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase 활성을 가지는 세포 내 조절 단백질로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다.
