Product Specific Information
Qdot™ nanocrystals are semiconductor-based fluorescent particles that are exceptionally bright and resistant to photobleaching. When paired with appropriate optical filters, Qdot™ nanocrystals can be up to 50 times brighter than traditional organic dyes.
Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat IgG targets.
These secondary antibodies provide versatility across detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, they may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to ensure high specificity.
