PA1-16913 is specific for the ~106 kDa membrane form of ApoER2 protein.
A larger ~130 kDa band may also be observed (glycosylated form).
Suggested positive control: mouse brain membrane preparation.

Apolipoprotein E receptor 2 (ApoER2) is an NMDA-associated protein found in neurons.
It functions in guiding neurons during embryonic brain development and regulating synaptic signaling.
It is also implicated in neurodegenerative diseases such as schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease.
