Target Information
Myosin은 근육 및 비근육 세포에서 actin과 상호작용하는 480 kD 단백질입니다. Conventional myosin은 두 개의 동일한 heavy chain (각 200 kD)과 네 개의 light chain (15–26 kD)으로 구성됩니다. Myosin 분자는 tail(rod)과 globular head의 두 주요 영역으로 나뉘며, tail 영역을 통해 필라멘트로 집합하고 head 영역을 통해 actin 및 ATP와 상호작용합니다. Skeletal, smooth, cardiac muscle 및 비근육 조직에서 다양한 형태의 myosin heavy chain이 존재합니다. 성체 골격근에는 type I (slow-twitch)과 type II (fast-twitch) 섬유가 있으며, type II는 IIa (fast red)와 IIb (fast white)로 세분됩니다.
