Target Information
MACC1 (Metastasis Associated in Colon Cancer 1)는 HGF–MET 경로의 주요 조절 인자로, 세포 성장, EMT, 혈관형성, 이동성, 침습성 및 전이에 관여합니다. MACC1 단백질은 ZU5, SH3, 두 개의 C-말단 death domain(DD)을 포함하는 네 개의 도메인으로 구성됩니다.
악성 조직(모든 단계의 대장암, 간 및 폐 전이)에서 MACC1 발현이 정상 조직보다 유의하게 증가하며, 대장암 전이의 조기 예후 지표로 작용합니다. MACC1은 MET 신호전달 및 세포사멸(apoptosis) 간의 연결고리 역할을 하며, 대장암 치료의 잠재적 표적이 될 수 있습니다.
MACC1 단백질은 최소 두 가지 isoform이 존재합니다.
