Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Biotin conjugated IgG, and Biotin conjugated Bovine Serum Albumin.
Target Information
Biotin is a water-soluble B complex vitamin (Vitamin B7). It is required by all organisms and can only be synthesized by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plant species. Biotin is essential for incorporation of carbon dioxide into organic compounds and has a molecular weight of approximately 244 Da.
