Target Information
CTU1은 tRNA(Lys), tRNA(Glu), tRNA(Gln)의 wobble 위치에서 mcm(5)S(2)U의 2-thiolation에 중심적인 역할을 합니다. tRNA에 직접 결합하며, 2-thiolation에 필요한 중간단계인 tRNA의 adenylation을 촉진하는 효소로 작용합니다. URM1의 thiocarboxylated sulfur를 tRNA의 uridine으로 전달하는 sulfurtransferase로 작용하는지는 명확하지 않습니다.
