• Reconstitution:
  Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
  The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
  The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
  Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
  Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

KCNQs are members of the voltage-dependent non-inactivating potassium channel family. There are five known members (KCNQ1–5) expressed in the central nervous system. KCNQ2 and KCNQ3 form heteromultimers that significantly enhance M-current activation. Inhibition of M-current regulates neuronal excitability and synaptic responsiveness. Mutations in these proteins are associated with disorders such as benign familial neonatal convulsions (BFNC), deafness, neuropathic pain, and epilepsy.
