Target Information
The chaperonin containing TCP1 (CCT) complex consists of two back-to-back rings, each containing eight unique but homologous subunits. CCT assists in folding newly translated polypeptides through ATP-driven release and rebinding cycles. Substrates include cytoskeletal proteins actin and tubulin, as well as alpha-transducin.
