Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TCF-9 (transcription factor 9), also known as C2orf3, GCF, or DNABF, is a 781 amino acid nuclear protein belonging to the GCF family.
It binds GC-rich sequences of beta-Actin, EGFR, and CANP promoters, and is widely expressed.
GCF contains multiple phosphoserine and phosphothreonine residues, and two isoforms arise from alternative splicing.
It is considered a candidate gene for dyslexia susceptibility (DYX3), both located on human chromosome 2, which is the second largest human chromosome (237 million bases, ~8% of the genome, encoding over 1,400 genes).
