Target Information
Glucose is fundamental to mammalian cell metabolism. Multiple glucose transporter isoforms (Glut) function in response to insulin and IGF1 signaling.
GLUT3 is expressed in spermatids within testis, placental trophoblast membranes, and neurons in the brain.
GLUT3 staining is also observed in human cancers such as ovary, lung, and testis tumors.
