Target Information
NUDT3 belongs to the MutT (Nudix) protein family. Nudix proteins act as homeostatic checkpoints in nucleoside phosphate metabolic pathways, preventing accumulation of harmful intermediates such as 8-oxo-dGTP, which can lead to AT-to-CG transversions (Safrany et al., 1998).
