ACAA2 (3-Ketoacyl-CoA thiolase)는 인간의 ACAA2 유전자에 의해 암호화되는 효소로, Acetyl-Coenzyme A acyltransferase 2라고도 불립니다. 이 단백질은 미토콘드리아 지방산 β-산화 과정의 마지막 단계를 촉매하며, 대부분의 미토콘드리아 매트릭스 단백질과 달리 절단되지 않는 아미노말단 타겟팅 신호를 포함합니다.
