Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Serine/threonine protein kinases such as ERK/MAP kinases, ribosomal S6 kinase (Rsk), and Raf-1 act as intermediates in signal transduction pathways.
Raf-1 is a cytoplasmic protein with intrinsic serine/threonine kinase activity and is homologous to v-Raf, the transforming gene product of murine sarcoma virus.
A-Raf, a second member of the Raf gene family, shares significant homology with Raf-1 in the kinase domain but less elsewhere.
A-Raf expression is highest in urogenital tissues and kidney and lowest in brain tissue.
