Target Information
CDK13/cyclin K serine/threonine kinase is a dimeric protein complex. CDK13 belongs to the cyclin-dependent serine/threonine protein kinase family, which plays essential roles as master switches in cell cycle control. Although the exact function of CDK13 is not fully determined, it may participate in mRNA processing and hematopoiesis regulation. Cyclin K, a member of the transcription cyclin family, may regulate transcription by activating CDKs that phosphorylate the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II.
