Target Information
The T Cell Receptor gamma-delta (TCR γδ) is a heterodimeric membrane receptor consisting of variable gamma and delta chains expressed as part of a complex with invariant CD3 proteins. Gamma-delta T cells are less frequent than alpha-beta T cells but are abundant at epithelial borders such as the gut mucosa. The antigenic stimuli for TCR γδ activation are largely MHC class-independent.
