Target Information
RIPK3는 serine/threonine 단백질 키나아제 계열의 receptor-interacting protein (RIP) 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 다른 RIP 계열 단백질과 구별되는 C-말단 도메인을 포함합니다. 주로 세포질에 존재하며, 미토콘드리아에 공위치하여 핵-세포질 간 셔틀링을 수행합니다. RIPK3는 TNF receptor-I 신호 복합체의 구성 요소로서 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 유도하고, NF-kappaB 전사 인자를 약하게 활성화할 수 있습니다. 또한 caspase-8은 CFLAR과의 복합체를 통해 RIPK3 의존적 괴사(necrosis)를 억제하는 보호 기능을 수행합니다.
