Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The mitochondrial protein encoded by the TIMM10 gene belongs to a family of evolutionarily conserved proteins organized in heterooligomeric complexes within the mitochondrial intermembrane space. These proteins mediate the import and insertion of hydrophobic membrane proteins into the mitochondrial inner membrane, functioning as intermembrane space chaperones for highly insoluble carrier proteins.
