Target Information
SYNPO2L은 심장과 골격근의 Z-disc에 고도로 발현되는 세포골격 단백질을 암호화하는 심장 특이적 유전자로 확인되었습니다. Actin과 결합하며 α-actinin과 상호작용합니다. Synaptopodin 패밀리에 속하며 Synaptopodin 2와 높은 상동성을 보입니다.
SYNPO2L은 주로 근절(sarcomere)에 존재하지만 핵으로 이동할 수 있으며, zebrafish에서 SYNPO2L 발현이 억제되면 심장 및 골격근 발달 이상이 발생합니다. 이는 SYNPO2L이 근절의 중요한 구성 요소로서 근육 발달에 중요한 역할을 함을 시사합니다.
