Product Specific Information
The 11-26c monoclonal antibody reacts with the delta heavy chain of mouse IgD. It does not react with other classes of mouse immunoglobulin including IgA, IgG, or IgM. IgD is expressed by peripheral mature B cells, and 11-26c does not activate B cells.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number should be empirically determined (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody titration recommended for optimal assay performance.
Fluorophore Information:
APC-eFluor® 780 emits at 780 nm and is excited by the Red laser (633 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark. Clone-specific fixation performance should be determined empirically.

633–647 nm / 780 nm / Red Laser

0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
IgD is a type I transmembrane protein co-expressed on mature naive B cells with membrane IgM. It also exists in soluble form in serum and participates in B cell receptor-mediated signal transduction upon antigen binding.
