Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CPA1 (Carboxypeptidase A1) is a 419-amino-acid secreted monomeric protein highly expressed in pancreatic tissue.
It functions as a zinc-dependent exopeptidase that catalyzes the release of C-terminal amino acids from proteins, playing a key role in protein digestion and degradation.
CPA1 may also participate in zymogen inhibition, preventing unwanted enzyme activation.
Abnormal CPA1 levels are associated with pancreatic cancer, indicating possible roles in tumor progression or suppression.
