Target Information
Transmembrane protein 26 (TMEM26) is a membrane-spanning protein that maintains three-dimensional structures. These proteins tend to aggregate and precipitate in aqueous environments and often require detergents or nonpolar solvents for extraction. Some beta-barrel transmembrane proteins can also be extracted using denaturing agents.
