Target Information
The SNRPD2 gene encodes a member of the small nuclear ribonucleoprotein core protein family, which is essential for pre-mRNA splicing and small nuclear ribonucleoprotein biogenesis. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus, producing two transcript variants encoding the same protein.
