Western blot 실험에서는 PBST 또는 TBST 내 5% 탈지분유(non-fat dry milk)를 사용하여 항체의 차단 및 반응 단계를 수행하는 것이 권장됩니다. BSA는 사용하지 않는 것이 좋습니다.
