Target Information
TBK1 (TANK-binding kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the IKK family, involved in NF-κB activation and IRF3 signaling. It acts as a key mediator in immune and inflammatory responses by regulating gene expression. TBK1 phosphorylates IKKβ, leading to NF-κB activation, and functions upstream of NIK and the IKK complex. It also plays a critical role in protecting embryonic liver from apoptosis.
