Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody 74.5.2 is directed against epitopes in the XC15 peptide that contain a binding site for high-molecular-weight kininogen and Factor XII.
Clone 74.5.2 recognizes both the mature (74–282) and truncated form lacking residues 74–95.
Target Information
Replication Protein A (RPA), also known as human single-stranded DNA binding protein (HSSB), is involved in DNA replication, repair, and recombination.
RPA from human cells forms a stable heterotrimer of 70 kDa, 32–34 kDa, and 11–14 kDa subunits (RPA70, RPA32, and RPA14).
It is required for SV40 large tumor antigen–catalyzed unwinding of SV40 DNA and stimulates DNA polymerase α and δ.
RPA34 is phosphorylated at the G1/S boundary of the cell cycle or upon exposure to DNA damage–inducing agents such as ionizing and UV radiation.
