Target Information
Candida albicans는 인간에게 가장 빈번히 분리되는 진균 병원체로, 미숙아부터 AIDS 환자까지 면역저하 환자에게 영향을 미칩니다.
전신 감염은 약 30–50%의 사망률을 가지며, C. albicans는 8쌍의 상동 염색체를 가진 이배체 생물입니다.
유전체 크기는 약 16 Mb (haploid)로, 제빵 효모(S. cerevisiae)보다 약 30% 큽니다.
