Target Information
Serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT)는 혈청 인자로 처음 발견되었으며, 중추 및 말초 신경계, 심혈관계, 위장관계 등 다양한 생물학적 과정 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 분자 클로닝 연구에 따르면 5-HT1 아형에 속하는 5개의 수용체가 확인되었으며, 이들은 adenylyl cyclase에 음성 결합되어 있습니다. 방사성 리간드 결합 연구에서는 substantia nigra, dorsal subiculum, globus pallidus, superior colliculus 등에서 5-HT1B (이전 명칭 5-HT1DbR) 수용체가 존재함을 보여줍니다. In situ hybridization 연구에서는 hippocampus의 CA1 피라미드 세포, cerebellum의 Purkinje 세포, olfactory tubercle, subthalamic nucleus에서 높은 수준의 5-HT1BR mRNA 발현이 관찰되며, caudate-putamen, cortex, thalamus, hypothalamus에서는 낮은 수준으로 존재함이 보고되었습니다.
