Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Horse, Pig, and Mouse.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.
Advantages include:

  • Improved specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to the large rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

PKM2 (Pyruvate Kinase M2) catalyzes the conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate and ATP. It interacts with thyroid hormone, mediating metabolic effects, and binds Opa protein, implicating it in bacterial pathogenesis.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms of PKM2 have been reported.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
