Target Information
DPP9 유전자는 serine proteases의 S9B family에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 post-proline dipeptidyl aminopeptidase 활성을 가지며, 단백질 N-말단의 Xaa-Pro dipeptides를 절단합니다. DPP4와 유사하지만 막 결합형은 아닙니다. Dipeptidyl peptidases는 기질 단백질의 활성 조절에 관여하며, 제2형 당뇨병, 비만, 암 등 다양한 질환과 관련이 있습니다. 여러 전사 변이체가 보고되었으나 완전히 특성화되지는 않았습니다.
