• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.

Target Information

Cornichon homologs (CNIHs) are AMPA-type glutamate receptor (AMPAR) auxiliary subunits that modulate AMPAR ion channel function and trafficking.
CNIH2 and CNIH3 regulate the export of AMPARs from the endoplasmic reticulum and associate with synaptic AMPARs to modulate channel kinetics.
CNIHs are small proteins with three transmembrane domains that directly bind to AMPARs.
Overexpression of CNIHs and AMPA receptors leads to localization in the Golgi apparatus.
CNIHs and TARPs compete for binding to AMPAR subunits GluA2, GluA3, and GluA4, indicating they share binding sites.
CNIH2/3 binding to AMPARs depends on subunit composition and TARPs.
