Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막 단백질로, 신경계 전반에 걸쳐 발현되며 세포 접착에 관여합니다.
120–180 kDa 범위의 다양한 아이소폼으로 존재하며, T 세포 및 NK 세포에서 발견됩니다.
세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 시냅스 가소성 등에 중요한 역할을 하며, laminin 및 integrin과 같은 세포외기질 성분과 상호작용합니다.
CD56은 대부분의 신경외배엽 유래 세포주 및 조직, 종양(예: retinoblastoma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, neuroblastoma)에서 발현되며,
neuroendocrine 및 ovarian granulosa cell 종양의 민감한 표지자로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 rabies 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms와 관련이 있습니다.
