Antibody detects endogenous levels of total BRD7.
Target Information
BRD7 acts both as coactivator and as corepressor. It activates the Wnt signaling pathway in a DVL1-dependent manner by negatively regulating GSK3B activity. It is required for TP53-mediated cell-cycle arrest in response to oncogene activation and promotes acetylation of TP53 at Lys-382, enabling efficient recruitment of TP53 to target promoters and inhibition of cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase.
