Target Information
KLHL25 (ectoderm-neural cortex protein 2, ENC2)는 여섯 개의 Kelch 영역과 하나의 BTB(POZ) 도메인을 포함하는 세포질 단백질입니다. KLHL25는 Kelch-like 단백질 ENC1과 높은 상동성을 가지며, 다른 Kelch-domain 단백질과 유사한 방식으로 작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 이러한 단백질은 종종 액틴 섬유의 조절자로 작용합니다. ENC1은 배아 발생 초기 단계에서 발현되어 신경 돌기 형성을 매개하며, 신경 능선 세포 분화에도 관여합니다. KLHL25는 단백질 유비퀴틴화 복합체의 기질 특이적 어댑터로 기능할 가능성이 있습니다. 대부분의 조직에서 발현되며, 특히 뇌와 간에서 높은 발현을 보입니다.
