Sin Nombre Virus Glycoprotein 2는 Sin Nombre 바이러스(SNV)의 외피 단백질 구조의 일부로, 설치류 매개 한타바이러스(Bunyaviridae 계통)에 속합니다. 이 바이러스는 음성 RNA를 가지며 3분절 게놈을 보유하고, 인간에게 한타바이러스 폐증후군(HPS)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
Hantavirus glycoprotein precursor (GPC)는 번역 후 절단되어 두 개의 당단백질 G1(Gn)과 G2(Gc)로 나뉩니다. G1 당단백질은 숙주의 자가포식 기전에 의해 분해되며, 이러한 자가포식적 제거가 효율적인 바이러스 복제에 필요하다고 알려져 있습니다.
