For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The BEX2 gene belongs to the brain expressed X-linked gene family. The encoded protein interacts with the transcription factor LIM domain only 2 in a DNA-binding complex that recognizes the E-box element and promotes transcription.
This gene functions as a tumor suppressor silenced in human glioma. In breast cancer cells, it modulates apoptosis in response to estrogen and tamoxifen, enhancing the anti-proliferative effect of tamoxifen.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
